    Refund and Returns Policy

    At HAULINTON Automotive Parts & Accessories Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HAULINTON”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operating via www.haulintonautomotive.com, we stand behind the quality of our automotive gadgets and accessories. We understand that sometimes a product may not be the right fit for your vehicle. This policy outlines the specific conditions under which returns and refunds are processed.

    1. THE MANDATORY RETURN PRINCIPLE (NO “REFUND-ONLY”)

    STRICT POLICY NOTICE: HAULINTON Automotive Parts & Accessories Ltd. does NOT offer “Refund-Only” solutions. To maintain the integrity of our inventory and prevent fraudulent claims, under no circumstances will a monetary refund be issued while the customer retains the physical product.

    To be eligible for any form of reimbursement (refund, credit, or exchange), the original item must be physically returned to our warehouse in Brampton, Ontario, and must pass a mandatory quality inspection. If you are unable or unwilling to return the physical product, a refund will not be granted.

    2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY WINDOW

    You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request. If 30 days have passed since your purchase was delivered, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

    3. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

    To ensure a successful return, the following conditions must be met:

    • Unused Condition: The automotive part or accessory must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.
    • Original Packaging: The item must be in its original, undamaged manufacturer’s packaging.
    • Completeness: All manuals, wires, mounting hardware, and peripheral components must be included in the return box.
    • Non-Returnable Items: Items that show signs of installation, electrical modification, or grease/oil stains are not eligible for return.

    4. RETURN PROCESS

    To initiate a return, please follow this professional protocol:

    1. Request Authorization: Contact our support team at scalenaneity@haulintonautomotive.com with your order number and clear photos of the item you wish to return.
    2. RMA Issuance: If eligible, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA number will be rejected.
    3. Shipping: Pack the item securely and ship it to our facility:

    4. Inspection: Upon arrival, our technicians will inspect the product. This process typically takes 3-5 business days.

    5. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

    If you receive an item that is defective or damaged during transit:

    • Notification: You must report the damage within 48 hours of receipt.
    • The Return Requirement Still Applies: Even for confirmed defective items, the physical product must be returned to us before we can release a replacement or issue a refund. We do not provide “Refund-Only” credits for damaged goods; we require the faulty unit back for manufacturer auditing.
    • Shipping Costs: In the event of a verified manufacturing defect, HAULINTON will provide a pre-paid return label or reimburse standard shipping costs.

    6. REFUND DISBURSEMENT

    • Approval: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • Partial Refunds: We reserve the right to grant only partial refunds for items returned with missing parts or damaged original packaging.
    • Processing: Approved refunds will be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

    7. RESTOCKING FEES

    A restocking fee of 15% may be applied to returns that are not due to our error (e.g., “changed mind” or “ordered wrong part”). This fee covers the cost of testing and re-packaging automotive electronics and precision tools.
